Bring Energy and Connection to Our Health and Wellbeing Programs – Volunteer with IPC Health!
Support our Physios, Occupational Therapists, and Diabetes Wellbeing Teams in helping clients stay active, healthy, and connected. If you enjoy light activity, meeting new people, and sharing a smile, this rewarding role might be just what you're looking for!
As a Health and Wellbeing Volunteer, you could:
- Join clients in gentle group exercise classes
- Accompany small groups on short walks in local parks
- Socialise with clients after sessions to foster connection
- Support individuals during activities so they get the most from their experience
- Assist with session setup and pack down
- Help out in our Diabetes Wellbeing Hub, supporting clients with diabetes management
Commitment: Once a week, Monday–Friday, for approximately 2 hours between 10:00am and 2:00pm. Some full-day activities (8:30am–4:30pm) are also available.
Locations: Hoppers Crossing, Deer Park, Altona Meadows, and Wyndham Vale, expanding to community centres and neighbourhood houses.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Undergo a Police Check (arranged and paid for by IPC Health)
- Hold a current Working with Children Check listing IPC Health as your volunteer organisation
- Provide a current immunisation record or evidence of immunity for:
- Annual Influenza vaccine
- Covid (recommended 2 doses)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
- Chickenpox
- Whooping Cough
- Provide valid photo identification
