Mobile Library Services Summer Adventure Volunteer 2026
This is a unique volunteer opportunity that takes place at Bookmobile stops rather than our library branches. The volunteer will meet our Bookmobile at one of the following three stops. Each stop has a regular schedule, but shift details will be coordinated with staff at the interview.
Wilson Ranch (2335 Allegheny Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80919)
Bonforte Park (2323 N Wahsatch Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80907)
Remington Park (2750 Pony Tracks Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80922)
REQUIRES RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM MOBILE LIBRARY STOP LOCATIONS LISTED ABOVE.
Tasks will vary, depending on need, but may include some of the following:

- Explain how to participate in Summer Adventure
- Register Summer Adventure participants
- Advance program help (cutting things out, etc.)
- Decorate displays, shelves, etc.
- Find items on the shelf for holds
- Place holds in bins
- Clean, dust, sanitize
- Neaten shelves and shelving areas
- Prepare program materials
- Assist with program set-up/take down
- Assist staff member as needed during programs
