The Community Care Secretary is responsible for the organization of visitation in hospital, nursing homes, shut-ins or other like institutions. Visits should be made on a regular and special needs basis and should serve those visited spiritually, emotionally and practically. The War Cry should be brought on every visit and gifts on seasonal visits. The institution or facility being visited should always be contacted for the appropriateness of the gift. The Community Care Ministry Secretary is also responsible to keep the supply cabinet stocked, see that the distribution boxes are filled, assist in ordering gifts and fruit , organizing the gift wrap, organizd luncheons or visitation Sundays, and properly record members, visits,and those visited and for the recruitment of helpers when needed.
