AmeriCorps RSVP - Intergenerational Support
Through a grant that the Southern Maine Agency on Aging receives from AmeriCorps Seniors Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), we have the ability to partner and recruit for volunteer opportunities at other nonprofits!
Boys & Girls Club of Southern Maine - Portland Program Support: BGCSM is looking for volunteers to engage with youth from ages 5-14 (with a focus on elementary ages) at the clubhouse in downtown Portland. Volunteers will spend time at the clubhouse once a week between the hours of 3:00pm - 6:00pm to assist staff on the floor when needed and provide homework help (STEM, Art, Sports, Career and Workforce Development) and lead general recreational activities.
