We offer many different ways to get involved supporting older adults, from making weekly check-in phone calls to serving meals at a community lunch site to leading a book club or knitting group, and more! We also pride ourselves in placing skills-based volunteers and interns in administrative roles within the agency, from supporting staff with outreach to volunteers and clients, to database maintenance, to photography, and more! We are happy custom-build internships or volunteer roles to suit the interests, curriculum, and/or skills of a particular volunteer, while furthering SMAA's mission and goals.
