St Laurence Park is a vibrant addition to the Lara community, providing Independent Retirement Living for over 100 individuals and families, and hosts several local community events each year!

Officially opened in 1969, St Laurence Park offers a range of indoor and outdoor spaces open to the residents that choose to seek a downsized and convenient lifestyle.

As a Cafe Assistant you will volunteer your time to help in our welcoming coffee shop within our retirement living community. 

No experience needed — just a friendly attitude and a willingness to help. 

Duties will include:

• Customer service, inclusive of money handling
• Serve tea, coffee, and light refreshments – Barista training provided.
• Maintain a clean and tidy space - clearing and cleaning of dishes and general cleaning (vacuum, wiping down tables, benches, fridges).
• General maintenance to the community garden (source produce and watering) located next door. Chat with residents and make them feel welcome
• Help create a relaxed, social space for our community

Program Hours: Monday - Saturday, 9:30 - 2:30pm.
