At genU Community Nursery in Geelong, we are passionate about growing and supplying high-quality Australian native and Indigenous plants that thrive in local landscapes. Open to the public during the week, our nursery offers a diverse range of Indigenous plants from the local area.
Our Volunteer Nursery Assistants support to mentor our supported employees whilst they cultivate plants, learn about sustainable gardening practices, obtain customer service skills and contribute to the beauty of our local environment.
The Essential Details: This is an outdoor role for individuals working in a group environment who have a passion to learn, or have prior experience, for plants or horticulture.
Duties include potting plants, weeding, fulfilling orders, pot washing and stock maintenance (weeding, staking and stock rotation).
Program Hours: Monday - Friday, from 8:30am - 3:00pm
