Internship- Community Services
Internships in our community service programs involve a lot of hands on experience working directly with clients and providing support for staff in multiple program areas (i.e. Community Action, Financial Wellness, Child Welfare Services, and Affordable Housing.) Responsibilities may include assessments, training/success plans, Coordinating & conducting workshops, providing 1:1 support for individuals, strategic planning and more.
A great experience for Foundations level MSW students, BSW students, and other human services related majors. Various shifts available.
Potential Placements include: Child Welfare Services, Empowerment Program, Community Action Program, After School Program
REQUIREMENTS: Depending on role. Enrolled in appropriate related higher education program. Fingerprint Clearance Card, ability to pass background check, TB screen, and completion of any required training (may include Therapeutic Options, CPR/1st Aid, Relias Health, etc.). Other requirements as per funding and contracts.
