General - Volunteer Orientation (Quarterly)

All on-site volunteer opportunities are currently suspended, but please see how you can still support the Urban League of Broward County (ULBC) through our virtual volunteer opportunities.

3 Steps to Volunteering

Our volunteer opportunities allow you to decide your level of participation based on your schedule. Whether you have a few hours to devote to virtual volunteering or are looking to provide hands-on service with a community partner, we have a path to help you get involved.

Step 1: Register and Attend a Volunteer Orientation
View the upcoming orientation schedule and register to attend below. The volunteer orientation will provide you with an understanding of ULBC’s programs and services, information on how to get started, and a chance to ask questions. Orientations are offered once per quarter on Wednesday events. They last approximately one hour.

Can’t wait to get started?
We may be able to use your help right away on one of our current short-term projects. Register here to volunteer on a project with an urgent need. Please note that this does not represent our full schedule of volunteer events. You’ll be able to view the full schedule after attending orientation, but we could use your support on these projects in the meantime!

Step 2: Learn More About Our Volunteer Projects

Step 3: Start Volunteering!
Specific instructions on the next steps will be provided at the Volunteer Orientation.
