Breast Unit Volunteer
The Breast Care Nurse Specialist Team are looking for a volunteer on a Wednesday 10.00 to 2.00 to support them with the ordering, organisation and preparation of patient information resources used across the breast cancer pathway, as well as assisting with general patient information resources used by the team.
They may also, in time, assist with organising patient workshops and help collect patient feedback. They may also support the organisation of patient engagement activities and contact patients with information on these.
By assisting with these admin tasks the volunteer will help free up clinical staff time so they can focus on providing direct patient care and support.
We are looking for people with a friendly, approachable manner who are compassionate and respectful. You must have good organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail and be computer literate.
