Support children who are ill or injured
Throughout the year, we host a range of events to raise vital funds for families in need.
By joining our dedicated fundraising event team, you’ll play an important role in making a real difference. Your time and energy help us continue supporting children and families when they need it most.
Please note that you are applying to assist at offsite events only. If you wish to volunteer within one of our Houses and/or Family Rooms please click here for the correct application form. If you volunteer within one of our Houses and/or Family Rooms you can also assist with offsite events.
Ways you can help
We run a variety of events of different sizes throughout the year and greatly value volunteer support.
About you
We’re looking for enthusiastic, compassionate people who are inspired by our mission and values.
Ideally, you will:
• Enjoy engaging and chatting with families and the public
• Bring a positive, “can-do” attitude
• Be available to volunteer at 2–4 events per year
Requirements
We’ll support you through the onboarding process, including covering the cost of required checks.
You will need to:
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check (VIC) or Working With Vulnerable People check (TAS)
• Complete a National Police Check
• Agree to our policies and procedures
• Be 18 years or older
Student placements
Please note: we are unable to sign off on student placements until a minimum of four events have been completed.
