Resident Engagement Opportunities - Games Partner
Games Partners help create fun and engaging moments for Salem Home residents by facilitating simple games such as bingo, cards, and table games. These activities encourage social interaction, laughter, and friendly connection among residents.
Volunteers support residents during games by explaining rules, assisting with gameplay, and creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.
What Volunteers Do

Help set up simple games such as bingo, cards, or table games

Welcome residents and encourage participation

Assist residents with gameplay and understanding the rules

Support residents who may need help handling cards or game pieces

Help clean up the game area after the activity

Notify staff of any concerns about residents

Record volunteer hours in the volunteer record book

Requirements

Friendly, patient, and encouraging

Orientation and support are provided by the Director of Community Engagement and Salem Home staff.
