Elevator Operator

The Elevator Operator assists patrons by taking them up and down various floors in the hall.

Typical tasks:

• Operating an elevator
• Answering questions about the Ferguson Center, the facility and the event
• Assisting patrons from one floor to the next

Requirements:

• Must have sufficient vision to read and understand Ferguson Center Tickets to direct patrons to which door to enter through to the theater
  • i.e., Note the date on the ticket, name of the show, tier of seat location (orchestra, grand tier, dress circle) and difference between house left and right.  Each ticket has their section, row and seat printed on it
• Must be able to share event details (length of performance, intermission, etc.)
• Must have excellent knowledge of assigned performance venue
  • Venue Seating Configuration
  • Lobby – restroom, coat check, will call, elevators and concessions
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the event
