The Dalhousie Community Association (DCA) offers volunteer opportunities in our programs, services, Community Garden, Events, Board of Directors, ice rink maintenance in the winter, Farmers Markets, fundraisers, and more. Volunteering for the community can bring numerous benefits, both for the individual and the community as a whole.

Dalhousie Casino Fundraiser

Please read this before you sign up. You need to:

Dalhousie Community Garden and Food Forest Team
Join Our Community Garden Volunteer Team
The Dalhousie Garden Team is looking to expand to support the development of the Community Garden and Food Forest. We have a number of volunteer positions that we need help with. Some roles may consist of multiple volunteers or one volunteer may hold multiple roles based on seasonal workload.

Sneak-a-Peek Stampede BBQ July 2nd
Join us for the Sneak-a-Peek Stampede BBQ on July 2nd, hosted by the Dalhousie Community Centre in collaboration with our weekly Farmers’ Market. This community event marks the unofficial kickoff to Stampede season in Calgary, bringing neighbours together for great food, local vendors, and live entertainment. Volunteers are a key part of making this celebration a success and we are looking for friendly, enthusiastic people to help us create a welcoming and memorable start to Stampede for the whole community.
