Assisting with programs
NH Veterans Home offers a variety of programs to its residents. The following is an example of areas where staff would need assistance:
- Transporting residents in wheelchairs to and from entertainment, bingo, ceremonies, religious services and other programs with-in the Home as needed.
- Sitting with residents during programs.
- Assisting a staff member with an activity.
The help we get from volunteers allows us to increase the number of residents who are able to attend as well as enhancing the residents enjoyment of the program.
