Assisting with trips
Assisting with trips involves the following:
- Assisting staff to get residents on and off the bus.
- Assisting staff with transporting the residents from the bus to the activity.
- Engaging with residents.
- If a meal is involved, volunteers would help to serve the residents.
All trips are different. Some examples are:
- Plays or concerts
- Going to the lake with a picnic lunch
- Mount Washington Cruise
- Mystery ride
- Monarchs and Fisher Cats games
- Fairs
This is not a complete list of trips, but it gives an idea of what we do and how active we are. Schedules vary.
