New Hampshire Veterans Home

Tuesday, July 7^th we are hosting a front lawn party to celebrate America's 250^th Birthday! Fun includes: 9:30am Black Hawk helicopter landing/ 11:30am take-off, Military Vehicles, Live Music, Food Trucks, Pop-up Main Street Store, Uncle Sam and much more! Looking for many volunteers to pair up with a resident to push in a wheelchair or escort around the parking lot to enjoy the festivities. Like our Classic Car night, volunteers can show up any time between 8:45am – 1pm and simply wait in the designated line to be partnered with a resident. You would only need to stay for a long as it takes for your resident to experience the event or you could hit the line again to be matched up with another resident. This is an outside event in our front parking lot by the main entrance. Parking and other specific information will be sent out to volunteers who sign up.
