New Hampshire Veterans Home

The Sunshine Cart is a very large cart filled with a large assortment of toiletries such as deodorant, shampoo / conditioner, mouthwash, denture care, lotion, body wash, etc. In addition, there is a wide selection of puzzle books, writing materials, playing cards, etc. All of these items are graciously donated by various people and organizations. While any of these items are available any time upon request, we also schedule a fun hour to set the cart outside the Main St. Store so that Residents can come down and pick out "shop" for any times they need - free of charge. Residents enjoy socializing with each other while shopping. 1 Volunteer is needed to simply stand with the cart and assist the Residents in pulling items off the cart and putting them in shopping bags.
