Veteran Companion Visits
Our Veteran-to-Veteran Program seeks volunteers who are willing to share time with the nation’s heroes in our care.
We provide training and help Veterans understand their role as hospice volunteers — a valued part of our care team.
We connect Veteran patients with Veteran volunteers who have a special ability to honor and connect, encouraging peace and healing.
Volunteers may provide:
• Companionship
• Emotional support
• Respite for caregivers
Additional opportunities include:
• Pinning ceremonies
• Community events
• Educational outreach through the We Honor Veterans program
