Many of our other opportunities allow youth to participate, but have different requirements. Reach out to the event leader or Dane County Park staff to ask about youth involvement.

YV4C (Youth Volunteers for Conservation) holds volunteer environmental education and workdays for high schoolers. Learn more about YV4C (links to Heritage Center website) and current opportunities (links to Better Impact page, link will fail if there are not any active opportunities).

There are many opportunities for Scouts of all ages to complete projects to support Dane County Parks. Often Scouts reach out with creative ideas for how to improve parks or address issues that staff may not have thought of or lack the time and resources to address.
