Alphabet Brick Painting Volunteer at  Heritage Center

Help make our education programs a success! During this volunteer event we will be updating and replace missing alphabet bricks from our warm season scavenger hunt. Each brick represents 1 letter and a native species. Volunteers will each be painting one of the missing bricks to prepare for putting our scavenger hunt back outdoors in the spring. 

What to Know:

What to Bring:

  • All tools and materials will be supplied. 
  • Bring a refillable water bottle and snacks if you need.

What to Wear:

  • Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. 
  • Wear clothing you are willing to paint in (acrylic paints).

Accessibility:

  • Work will be indoors in our office (climate controlled building).
  • Bathrooms are available.
  • Breast feeding Mamava is available. 
  • Volunteers will have a designated work area and can choose to sit or stand.

Heritage Center on the Lower Level - 3101 Lake Farm Rd, Madison, WI 53711

  • Car parking is readily available.
  • Bike parking is available. The LFHC is directly off of the Capital City Bike Trail.
