Plant Dane Plant Sale Pickup: Event Support 

Join us for a morning or afternoon of helping with our Plant Dane plant sale pickup!

The pick up for this year is scheduled for Saturday, May 16th from 8am-2pm. We’ll likely be distributing more than 30,000 plants over the course of the day. With several hundred people coming to pick up their native plants, we need your help to make this day a success!

Volunteers may assist with set-up, directing vehicular traffic, delivering plant orders to vehicles, organizing plant orders, and with cleanup. 

Volunteers must be 18+ to sign up for this role.

How to Prepare: 

What to Bring:

• A water bottle.
• Snacks if you need them.
• Anything else you need to be comfortable for this 3.5 hour shift.

What to Wear: 

• Wear clothing appropriate for the weather as your shift may be outside. 
• Wear appropriate, closed-toe shoes.  

Accessibility: 

• There will be bathroom and water access on site. 
• This role requires a fair amount of standing and walking, though options to sit when needed are available.
• Our department is committed to providing meaningful access to our programs and resources to all individuals, regardless of primary language or ability. If you need language assistance services or an accessibility modification for this program, including reserving our all-terrain wheelchair, please submit this request form a minimum of 10 business days before the event to make the request. Please note, it is not possible for all activities to be modified.
