Ecological Restoration: Restoration Workdays - Weed Workdays at Lower Mud Lake
Summer Restoration Workdays at Lower Mud Lake
Summer is the time to do battle with invasive weeds such as wild parsnip, hedge parsley, multiflora rosa, birds foot trefoil, and the usual suspects in the shrub category--buckthorn and honeysuckle. Many hands make light work and help our native species flourish!
What we do each week will depend on what is needed that week. It may include digging/pulling/mowing invasive plants or cutting buckthorn & honeysuckle.
Come for all or part of the time.
