Ecological Restoration: Invasive Weed Control - Women's* Invasive Weed Workday at Lake View Hill
Women's* Invasive Weed Removal at Lake View Hill County Park
Join our Natural Areas staff for a Women and Gender Minorities Weed Workday. This workday is focused on creating a safe space for women and gender minorities to learn about habitat restoration and make connections together.
During these summer workdays, staff and volunteers work to restore land by removing invasive weeds from desirable habitat. View our Invasive Weed Removal webpage here for more information.
We will spend the morning removing Japanese Hedge Parsley as well as weeding around some young oak trees. Join us for what will be a unique and rewarding experience. No prior experience is needed.
