YV4C Conservation Workday

Are you a young adult between the ages of 14 - 18 and interested in the outdoors? Come join Youth Volunteers for Conservation (YV4C) Program and explore Dane County Parks while contributing to ecological restoration and habitat conservation here in Southern Wisconsin!

Location: 

These workdays vary with location.

• Wednesday August 28th -  Seed Collection -  McCarthy Youth and Conservation Park 4841 County Highway TT, Cottage Grove, WI 53527
• Saturday September 14th - Seed Collection - Badger Prairie County Park 4654 Maple Dr, Verona, WI 53593
• Saturday October 19th - TBD
• Saturday November 16th - TBD
• Saturday December 7th - TBD

How to Prepare: 

What to Know:

• In case of cancellation, a notification will be made via email and/or phone to participants who have signed up.
• Participants should be comfortable with walking on uneven terrain. 
• No experience is needed. All tools and training provided.

What to Wear & Bring:

• Participants should dress for the weather. 
• Bring drinking water and a snack if desired.
