Education & Interpretation - Animal Ambassador Caretaker
Animal Ambassador Care Taking
Join the Heritage Center in caring for our animal ambassadors. This opportunity expects that individuals are independently willing to feed a variety of animals, follow a care taking protocol (including cleaning), and socialize a variety of animals.
What to Know:
- This is a independent position with a flexible schedule during weekdays 8 am - 4 pm.
- A staff member will be on-site if issues occur during the shift or volunteer neeeds assistance.
- A volunteer MUST have attended a 1:1 training with the Heritage Center on animal caretaking prior to volunteering
- Shifts will take approximately 2 hours.
- Volunteer should be able to come within the hours of 8 am - 4 pm on a week day. Volunteer must be done with duties by 4 pm.
