We have a thriving volunteer program that continues to grow, which is amazing! As we grow, we need to be able to streamline our systems. We need all volunteers to have active accounts in MyImpact and to know how to use those for the bare minimum functions. Therefor we are offering regular virtual and in-person trainings to support people to use the software.
Who:
Any active volunteer with Dane County Parks.
What to know:
This training is designed to be a full overview of all the most basic and necessary functions of DCP’s new volunteer portal (MyImpact) for the average volunteer. We will demonstrate how to navigate through the portal including how to view and sign up for shifts, how to log independent hours, and how to update your personal information. We will likely not get into more advanced functions of MyImpact, though there will be time for additional questions at the end. This is a participatory training!
What to bring: If you have a portable device like a laptop or a tablet, bring it, so you can follow along on your device while we demonstrate. If you don't have one of those devices, a smart phone will suffice, or you can attend the next virtual training.
