YV4C Conservation Workday
Are you a young adult between the ages of 14 - 18 and interested in the outdoors? Come join Youth Volunteers for Conservation (YV4C) Program and explore Dane County Parks while contributing to ecological restoration and habitat conservation here in Southern Wisconsin!

- Saturday January 11th - Seed Packet Filling/Brick Painting - Lussier Family Heritage Center (3101 Lake Farm Rd, Madison, WI 53711)
- CANCELLED - Saturday February 15th - Native Seed Spreading - Lake View Hill (1202 Northport Dr, Madison, WI 53704)
- Saturday March 15th - Brush Cutting - Lake Farm County Park, Meet at Lussier Family Heritage Center (3101 Lake Farm Rd, Madison, WI 53711)
- Saturday April 12th - Prescribed Burn Walk n' Talk - Meet at Lussier Family Heritage Center (3101 Lake Farm Rd, Madison, WI 53711)
- Saturday May 10th - Invasive Species Removal - Location TBD
- Saturday June 7th - Reforestation on the Capitol City Trail - Lussier Family Heritage Center (3101 Lake Farm Rd, Madison, WI 53711)
How to Prepare:
What to Know:
- In case of cancellation, a notification will be made via email and/or phone to participants who have signed up.
- Participants should be comfortable with walking on uneven terrain.
- No experience is needed. All tools and training provided.
What to Wear & Bring:
- Participants should dress for the weather.
- Bring drinking water and a snack if desired.
