Volunteer Lead - Annual Dog Park Cleanup Day at Badger Prairie

Join us at a Dane County Park dog park for a morning of cleanup! 

Lead volunteers for our annual dog park cleanup will: 

• Stay by the dog park entrance and invite all dog park users to help with the annual spring clean-up. A picnic table is available to sit or stand at.
• Ask willing volunteers to sign in and hand out cleanup supplies to them.
• Be a friendly representative of our Dane County Dog Parks!

Badger Prairie Dog Park - 4654 Maple Grove Dr, Verona, WI

How to Prepare: 

What to Know and Bring:

• Additional instructions and information on our supply bags will be provided upon sign up.  
• Your four-legged friends are welcome to join. 
• Bring drinking water and a snack if desired.

What to Wear: 

• Even though the first Saturday of April is technically “spring”, be prepared for any type of weather. 
• You should wear close-toed shoes and clothes you don't mind working in. 

Accessibility:

• There is a single-stall vault/pit style toilet available for use.
• Our department is committed to providing meaningful access to our programs and resources to all individuals, regardless of primary language or ability. If you need language assistance services or an accessibility modification for this program, including reserving our all-terrain wheelchair, please submit this request form a minimum of 10 business days before the event to make the request.
