Independent Volunteer: Flyer Distribution 

This is an independent activity. Volunteer is asked to hang program posters in public areas to promote Dane County Parks programs. 

Guidelines for Hanging Posters

• At a business/private property, obtain consent before hanging.
• Do not put on individual's property (such as on a car window or mailbox) 
• Possible Locations:
  • Coffee Shops
  • Community Centers
  • Grocery Stores
  • Senior Centers
  • Stores with a bulletin board
  • Libraries 

What to know?

• Please bring masking tape or clear packing tape for hanging. 
• Volunteer is responsible for transportation between sites. 
• Arrange poster pick up by emailing email heritagecenter@danecounty.gov with your preferred pick up location, date and time. Alternatively, you may choose to print them on your own. 
• Poster pick up can be arranged at the following locations:
  • Land and Water Resources Department (5201 Fen Oak Dr, Madison)
  • Heritage Center (3101 Lake Farm Rd, Madison)
  • Dane County Parks Operation Building (4318 Robertson Rd, Madison)

Location:

This activity can occur around any part of Dane County.
