Youth Specific Opportunities - YV4C Shoreline Cleanup

YV4C Shoreline Cleanup

Join us in caring for our local waterways! During this hands-on stewardship event, participants will work alongside a Dane County Parks Ranger to help remove litter and debris from the shoreline, improving habitat for wildlife and keeping our parks beautiful for everyone.

Youth will learn how trash impacts water quality and aquatic ecosystems, what types of debris are most commonly found along shorelines, and how park staff manage and protect these important natural areas. Participants will assist with shoreline cleanup and proper disposal of collected materials.

Date/Time:

  • Sunday, April 25 from 9:45 am to 12 pm.
