Supply

The Supply Department Volunteer role is primarily to provide practical support with shelf life management and inventory accuracy for the Supply Department of St Andrew's Hospital.

Areas include: Wards, Cardiac, Critical Care Unit, Emergency, Dietary Stores.

You may be assigned one or many of these areas depending on your availability.

Key Duties

  • Assist with ensuring stock held stock held on shelves within designated areas is within shelf life date
  • Remove any stock that is past expiry date, taking record of this and providing the information to the Inventory Controller for tracking
  • Tag products that are within date range, close to expiry to assist in using first
  • Assist with cycle counts as required
  • Other duties as agreed and discussed with Supply Department Manager
  • Maintaining a safe environment
