What we are seeking

We are currently looking for volunteers to engage in our Peer Support Program.  

What you will do

As a Peer Navigator Volunteer, you will be a beacon of support and understanding for individuals who are seeking employment and who have lived experience with mental health.

In the role of Peer Navigator you will:

• Provide peer support: By sharing your own personal lived experience with a mental health challenge you will foster a helping ‘relationship with clients that is based on empathy, mutual understanding and free of judgement.
•  Resource Guidance: Assist clients to access relevant resources and services in the community.
• Goal Setting: Collaborate with clients to set achievable goals as they move towards gaining meaningful employment.

*Peer Navigators must also be employed or attending a post-secondary institution.
