We are looking for volunteers to assist in our Digital Literacy Program. Located at Prospect’s Strathmore location, the volunteer would be assisting our clients once per week to strengthen their digital literacy and provide guidance on job search tools.

What you will do

The Digital Literacy Volunteer helps to break barriers to employment by assisting clients to upskill their computer knowledge.

In this extremely rewarding volunteer role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist participants in digital literacy learning goals related to connecting to employment or education.
  • Provide basic computer skill training to job seekers ie. Attaching a resume to an email, setting up an Indeed account.
  • Will be facilitated Fridays 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Prospect Strathmore office.
  • Maximum attendees per session will be 2-3.
  • Ability to determine client needs and plan instruction.
