Teen Volunteer

Assist  Teen and Youth Specialists to create exciting and engaging programs and activities.

In this role, you will learn about library resources, support in-person and virtual programs, support the Library’s services to children, work with library staff, and meet other library teen volunteers helping to create a vibrant community.

  • Must be at least 13 and no older than 18 years

  • No experience necessary - library will provide all necessary on-site training

  • Time commitment is 4 to 10 hours per month, with occasional opportunities for additional hours

  • You will be matched with a Library near you that fits your interests and availability

  • This position will fulfill school requirements of community service hours

  • Start to build your resume - your supervisor will provide a letter of recommendation upon completion of 6 months of service.
