Special Event Volunteer

Help to make library programs a success!

Experience library programs and contribute to their success. Programs anticipating substantial customer participation often require assistance to ensure an outstanding visitor experience. 

This is a wonderful opportunity to support your neighborhood library and ensure successful library programs in your community.

Interest in this role would include you in volunteer opportunities for support of library staff with programs or presentations. You would work closely with staff in activities like program set up, distribution of materials, staff information tables, or directing and managing program participants.

  • No experience necessary - library will provide all necessary on-site training

  • Time commitment is 2 hours every other week during training and orientation. Service in this role is occasional and limited to Special Events and programs.

  • This role is appropriate for adult or approved teen volunteers
