Would you enjoy assisting library staff in organizing and managing library materials, assisting with merchandising and book displays, creating and organizing materials for programs, and supporting staff projects? 

Become a Library Volunteer!

Meet and work with library staff and other volunteers from your neighborhood. Assist staff in achieving its goals for your community. This role offers participation in the widest range of volunteer activities.

• Help sort books for shelving 

• Prepare event facilities

• Create materials for programs

• Keep common areas orderly

• Provide administrative support such as copying, filing, or maintaining the public bulletin board

• No experience necessary - library will provide all of the necessary on-site training

• Time commitment is 2 hours every other week

• Flexible scheduling at a neighborhood branch near you

• This role is appropriate for adults
