Schedule a Group Volunteer Project
Gather your group, get outside, and make a difference in San Diego County Parks.
Group volunteer projects are a great way for companies, schools, clubs, youth groups, nonprofits, faith groups, and community organizations to give back while building teamwork and enjoying the outdoors. Projects may include park cleanups, beautification, habitat restoration, invasive plant removal, trail and trailhead maintenance, tree planting or tree care, and special event support.
No experience is needed for most projects. When a project is confirmed, County Parks staff provide project direction, tools, training, and on-site leadership.
Please complete this interest application to tell us about your group, your preferred dates, your approximate group size, where you would like to serve, and the types of activities your group would enjoy. After submitting your interest form, you may schedule a Microsoft Bookings meeting with our Volunteer and Public Service Programs team to discuss possible project options and next steps.
Group projects are planned around park needs, staff availability, season, weather, location, and group size. Submitting this form and scheduling a meeting does not confirm a project date.
For the best chance of scheduling a custom project, please submit your request 6 to 8 weeks in advance. Confirming a project may take 2 to 4 weeks.
Minimum group size: 10 participants.
