Barn Crew
Position Summary: Assist Medicine Horse team with equine-related tasks around the barn, including but not limited to mucking, filling water, hay bags, sweeping, etc.
Job Duties
- Mucking (Cleaning stalls and runs)
- Cleaning and filling water troughs & run waters
- Filling hay bags
- Sweeping
- Clean and sweep grain room as needed
- Helping with small projects as needed
Requirements
- Time Commitment: Able to commit consistently for at least 4 hours each month
- Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
- Arrive in proper attire, including work gloves and boots
- Must be comfortable with physical labor
- Courteous and willing to address the most pressing needs
- In order to be unsupervised, volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or supervised by our Barn Manager
