What Is Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)?
- The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) provides FREE tax preparation that helps filers access the tax credits & refunds they are entitled to. There are FREE VITA sites throughout Riverside County. Sites are staffed by volunteers representing Community Action Partnership of Riverside County.
Who Benefits From VITA?
- Taxpayers who file 1040, 1040A, & 1040EZ - Low to Moderate income families - Persons with disabilities - Limited English speaking taxpayers - Senior Citizens.
How Do We Help The Community?
- Information about FREE tax preparation services & the Earned Income Tax Credit is provided to the community by collaborative partners connecting eligible families with additional support services.
