Hannah’s Garden Improvements

Location: Behind the Visitors Center, Cibolo Nature Center (CNC)
Volunteers Needed: 6

Project Overview

Volunteers will assist with improvements to Hannah’s Memorial Garden. Work will focus on restoring garden features, maintaining structures, and enhancing the visitor experience.

Volunteer Responsibilities

• Replace or repair the garden fountain
• Clean and repaint rainwater cistern piping
• Restore and maintain garden signage
• Upgrade and maintain bird feeders
• Assist with installing lighting conduit where needed

Skills & Experience (Preferred)

• Electrical work / knowledge of basic conduit installation
• Vegetation management and garden maintenance

Volunteer Requirements

• Ability to perform light to moderate physical work outdoors
• Comfortable using hand tools and following project instructions
• Willingness to work as part of a team

What to Bring

• Closed-toe shoes
• Work gloves (recommended)
• Water bottle
• Sun protection (hat, sunscreen)
