Parking Lot Improvements

Help improve safety, drainage, and appearance at a key entry point to The Cibolo.

Location: Cibolo Nature Center - 140 City Park Rd, Boerne, Tx
Schedule: 8:00 - 11:30 a.m. / 12:30 - 3:00 p.m.

Description:

Join us in enhancing the parking lot area to improve functionality, safety, and overall appearance. This project focuses on rebuilding key features, improving drainage, and restoring surrounding elements to create a more welcoming and sustainable space for visitors.

Volunteer Activities May Include:

• Assisting with rebuilding the parking lot apron using stacked limestone blocks
• Supporting efforts to prevent gravel migration and improve drainage
• Removing unnecessary traffic bollards
• Beautifying the City water station and upgrading the adjacent Cibolo water point
• Restoring the sprinkler control box
• Cleaning the main entrance sign
• Assisting with restoration of the island sidewalk

Requirements & Expectations:

• Willingness to perform physical, outdoor work
• Ability to lift and move materials (stone, tools, etc.)
• Comfort using basic tools and following instructions
