Land Stewardship - Cibolo Nature Center Watering Day

Overview: Join our dedicated team at Cibolo Nature Center and help maintain our beautiful gardens and frog pond! As a Plant Watering Volunteer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the health and vitality of our plant life, contributing to the overall mission of promoting the conservation of our natural resources through education and stewardship.

Responsibilities:

  • Watering Plants: Regularly watering outdoor plants according to their specific needs, ensuring they receive the appropriate amount of moisture.
  • Monitoring Plant Health: Observe plants for signs of stress, disease, or pests, and report any concerns to Cibolo staff.
  • Assisting with Maintenance: Help with general garden upkeep, including weeding, mulching, and pruning as needed. Refilling Bird Feeders.

Location: Cibolo Nature Center - 140 City Park Dr, Boerne, Tx. Sign in at the Visitor Center and meet with Volunteer Coordinator, Jennifer Smith for instructions.
