Oak Motte & Pavilion Improvements

Help enhance a beloved outdoor gathering and learning space at The Cibolo.

Location: Cibolo Nature Center - 140 City Park Rd. Boerne, Tx
Schedule: 8:00 - 11:30 a.m. / 12:30 - 3:00 p.m.

Description:

Join us in improving the Moon Dance Oak Motte, an outdoor classroom and gathering space used for programs and community events. This project focuses on small but meaningful repairs that will enhance both the appearance and functionality of the area.

Volunteer Activities May Include:

• Replacing conduit and clamps supporting the string lighting system
• Updating hardware on approximately 20 trees
• Assisting with repainting the Nature Education shed
• Rebuilding limestone walkway markers
• Organizing the bike rack area
• Assisting with evaluation and potential repurposing of donation boxes

Requirements & Expectations:

• Willingness to perform light to moderate physical, outdoor work
• Comfort using basic tools and following instructions
• Attention to detail for repair and improvement tasks
