Garden Maintenance - Harvest & Organize Vegetables for Farmers Market Stand

Join us for a fun and hands-on volunteer opportunity to help bring fresh, local produce to our community! We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with harvesting and organizing vegetables for our Farmers Market stand.

Shift Details:
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Where: Teaching Garden at Herff Farm, 33 Herff Rd. 

Volunteer Tasks Include:

  • Harvesting fresh vegetables from the garden

  • Cleaning and sorting produce

  • Packing and organizing items for the market stand

  • Working with the farm team to ensure a smooth and efficient prep

What to Bring/Wear:

  • Weather-appropriate clothing (you’ll be outside)

  • Comfortable, closed-toe shoes

  • Sunscreen, insect repellant, hat, and sunglasses

  • Plenty of water to stay hydrated

Where to Meet:
Enter through the main gate at Herff Farm, turn right, and park near the Teaching Garden. Look for the picnic tables under the covering, our farm team will meet you there.
