Location: Cibolo Center for Conservation
140 City Park Rd.
Join us for a hands-on land restoration service project supporting both ecological management and aesthetic improvements at The Cibolo. Volunteers will assist with a variety of land stewardship activities, to include removal of small ligustrum, install water/soil bars to stop erosion and plant trees.
Tools & Equipment
Lopping shears, a 4-lb hammer sledge, and an 8-lb sledge will be used. Water bars will be pre-drilled and ready for installation using ½-inch reinforcement bar. Some tools will be provided, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own.

Volunteer shifts are rain or shine; tasks may change depending on weather conditions
The project area is easily accessible, and some transportation will be available. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Getting to The Cibolo

Enter through the main gate at 140 City Park Road

Follow the driveway until you see parking lots on the right

Park where convenient and walk to the Nature Center area
