Sisterdale Sanctuary Projects - Sisterdale Sanctuary Land Restoration
The Cibolo is deeply committed to safeguarding the Hill Country's most vital lands, ensuring they remain pristine and accessible for generations to come.
Be a part of our mission by helping restore the Sister Sanctuary. Volunteers will assist in clearing Live Oak Savannah and creek areas, as well as taking care of pre-caging and enclosure needs.
Event Details:
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Location: Sisterdale Sanctuary, 1250 FM 473
Directions: Driving north on Main St. (hwy 87) in Boerne, TX, turn right onto Sisterdale Rd. Drive for 14.6 miles. Turn right onto Ranch Rd. 473 and take the first immediate left into Sisterdale Sanctuary.
What to Bring and What to Expect:
- Field gear (long pants, sturdy shoes, a hat, and sun protection)
- Work gloves
- Water
- A portable bathroom is available
- Walking, crouching, lifting up to 30 lbs
- Some areas are steep and uneven
