Volunteering With the Cibolo Center for Conservation

Volunteers will help with seasonal garden tasks like mulching, pulling weeds, and caring for our food and pollinator gardens.

What to Expect

• Working outdoors for most of the shift

• Bending, standing, and crouching

• Some lifting (up to 50 lbs)

• Rain or shine! Tasks may vary depending on the weather

What to Bring

• Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and closed-toe shoes

• Gardening gloves or tools (we’ll have some available if you don’t!)

• Sunscreen, bug spray, and plenty of water

Getting Here

• Enter through the main gate at 33 Herff Road and turn right

• Park where it’s convenient and head into the barn building

• Meet the Garden Manager at the picnic tables under the covered area
