Want a flexible volunteer role? like to be outside and seeing different areas of the zoo? Jersey Zoo is our home base and volunteers are helping us keep it beautiful and clean by taking a bucket, brush and sponge to various animals signs, maps, information boards, plaques displayed in honour of loved ones, benches and picnic tables around the site. Washing off the ice-cream and dust away in this role is hugely appreciated and its a great way to see the different areas and animals, helping the zoo shine for visitors enjoyment goes such a long way and of course gloves and equipment needed are all provided.

Volunteers in this area support our conservation mission by enhancing the visits of our members and supporters with wonderful surroundings that show off our grounds. Volunteers in this area can do it individually or get together with a friend and have great fun working outside.

09:30 - 16:00 Monday - Friday (Weekends possible too after volunteers have learnt the routine)
