BAD SEED - Invasive Plant Removal - Bad Seed Restoration - Smiling Creek East
Come join the Bad Seed team to help us restore Smiling Creek by removing invasive plants as we prepare these sites for native planting events upcoming! Join us to learn about invasive species like Himalayan blackberry, Morning glory, & Lamium including how to identify them, what the impacts of invasive species are, and have fun removing them to enhance the habitat value of this parkland!
Details:
- No experience necessary - training, gloves, & tools are provided!
- Please bring a water bottle and wear long-sleeves & pants appropriate for the activity and weather.
- This event will run rain or shine.
- Location: We’ll be meeting at the trailhead for the Smiling Creek Trail across where it meets Galloway Ave., next to 3462 Galloway Ave. Click here for a Maps Pin or reference the image below.
